Epigenetics...What is happening to your genes?

What does the latest research say about epigenetics?  You can research the effects of the amount of stress, sleep, exercise, smoking, violence, etc...have on the expression of our genes.  Include what happens to certain genes and any diseases associated with them.

 

 

Electrophoresis or DNA Fingerprinting

Research how DNA Fingerprinting has either acquitted people of crimes or helped solve crimes.  Include enough details of the crime so your audience can understand the case and the ruling.

 

HeLa Cells and Laws Protecting Patient Tissue Samples

Research the impact Henrietta Lacks has had on science.  Provide different and more in depth information than the video and article from class did.
